Vote “No” on Props 312 & 314
You’re tired of thinking about the election. We get it. We are, too. And you may be feeling stressed out or anxious about the future…and so are we.
If you’re like many of us on our team, you’ve likely already decided on your stance on candidates and the various props on Arizona’s ballot!
But, we would be remiss if we did not share our stance on Prop 312 & Prop 314 and how they will directly affect pet families in our community, and nonprofit organizations (like ours) who will suffer funding losses and see an increased strain on their resources.
You have trusted The Arizona Pet Project to serve our community’s most vulnerable and disempowered communities for decades, so if you have a few minutes, we hope you’ll bear with us as we tread into fraught territory…
Please hear us out and read why to vote “NO” on Prop 312 & Prop 314 and why it may matter to you!
And if you disagree, that’s okay!
We simply encourage the respectful dissent Arizonans are known for.
Vote “No” on Prop 312
This November, Proposition 312 promises to address homelessness but falls short. When in reality, it will:
- Ignore root causes like lack of shelter, mental health care, and addiction recovery
- Drain local resources, hurting vital services
- Encourage costly lawsuits
- Worsen homelessness by displacing people without support
Real solutions support families!
Focus on supporting affordable housing, mental health care, and addiction recovery to:
- Keep families together, including their pets
- Improve public safety
- Strengthen communities
Vote NO on Prop 312. Demand effective, compassionate solutions that support Arizona families with pets facing homelessness!
Vote “No” on Prop 314
Every Arizonan deserves dignity, compassion, and a chance to thrive. Proposition 314 threatens to rip families apart, harming our communities.
The Arizona Pet Project supports vulnerable families! We provide vital services to all pet owners in need. Our mission is to keep families together and healthy – pets included.
Why Vote NO?
- Families Torn Apart: Unnecessary deportations separate parents from children, leaving vulnerable families shattered.
- Community Suffering: Criminalizing immigrants and refugees exacerbates poverty, homelessness, and pet abandonment.
- Lack of Compassion: This proposition ignores the humanity and love that defines our communities.
- Costs Taxpayers Money: By shifting enforcement, incarceration, and court-related challenge costs to Arizonans at a time with the State is operating a $1B deficit. This will result in less money for critical infrastructure and human services.
Choose compassion, choose family!
Vote NO on Prop 314 and join The Arizona Pet Project in supporting:
- Inclusive Community Services: Ensuring all families access vital resources, regardless of status.
- Family-Friendly Policies: Advocating for laws prioritizing unity, mental health, and well-being.
- Love and Kindness: Recognizing the strength and contributions of Arizona families, pets and all.
Thanks for listening! And for those who have already voted by mail, or will be voting soon, thanks for using your voice to support your community!
