Gwen would do anything to keep Pepper, her 14-year-old dog, happy and healthy for the rest of her life!

So you can imagine how she felt as she was giving Pepper a belly rub and her hand brushed over a lump.  Her thoughts turned dark, and a wave of panic set in before she jumped into protective dog mom mode and began seeking veterinary care.

Gwen would give every dollar she had to her name to get Pepper checked out at the vet’s office and make sure she was okay!

Frighteningly quicker than she could have imagined, Gwen‘s funds dwindled to nothing.  Her commitment to giving everything she had was sadly a reality. She spent every penny she had taking Pepper to the vet for tests and had nothing left to spend to have her treated once the issue was diagnosed.

Just when she was beginning to think the worst, a colleague recommended The Arizona Pet Project to her, and our team jumped at the chance to help them.

The cost of Pepper’s surgery was simply beyond Gwen‘s reach. But thanks to donations to The Arizona Pet Project, Pepper received the medical care she needed!

And we’re SO happy to share that Pepper had the mass removed, and Pepper has fully recovered!
