Escaping together, this dog mom and her fur son were finally safe.

But just as she could catch her breath and feel okay, she discovered disturbing blisters on her dog’s belly.

Without hesitation, she jumped into action. Even knowing she had stretched her resources so tight for them to escape their unsafe situation, with her fixed income and nearly all of our money spent, she knew there were resources out there that could help.

Reaching out to veterinary offices for quotes and guidance, this dog mom sought consultation for help. That’s when our social worker met this family!

Our team was able to help cover the costs of having her dog seen and treated, providing peace of mind to this loving dog mom who could finally breathe easier. Now, she knew her best friend was on the road to being healthy.
