Homelessness is a daily struggle, but Tommie finds solace in her beloved pets, who give her the strength to carry on. While facing homelessness with her dogs by her side, she is determined to give them a better future because they are her family and support system. Tommie will stop at nothing to ensure their safety and well-being.
Despite facing increasingly difficult circumstances that led to her living on the streets, Tommie has never lost her tenacity. With her loyal companions, Prince and Suki, by her side, she says she feels like she could tackle anything that comes her way!
Prince, her loyal chihuahua, has been with her since he was a tiny puppy. From the moment Tommie laid eyes on Prince, she knew that he was the one for her. Despite the danger he was in, she rescued him and the two have been inseparable ever since. Prince has become her trusted companion, never leaving her side. Together, they have faced many challenges and Tommie credits him with saving her life.
While Tommie and Prince have been with the family for some time, Suki is a newer addition who was also rescued from an unfortunate situation. It was brought to our attention that Suki has yet to be spayed, and Tommie was thrilled to learn our team could assist with the procedure at The Arizona Pet Project’s community wellness clinic. She expressed that she had always wanted to have Suki spayed but could not afford it.
Thankfully, because of donations to The Arizona Pet Project, Suki was spayed at no cost to Tommie!
Tommie is over the moon knowing that Suki will live a longer, healthier life and she wanted us to tell you she is so grateful to the people who donate to The Arizona Pet Project who help people and pets in our community when they need it most!
