What is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on November 29, 2022. This single day in November is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of radical generosity to transform communities around the world, including right here in our community in Arizona!
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past ten years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity with their favorite organizations–organizations like The Arizona Pet Project!
The Arizona Pet Project’s $5,000 Match Goal for GivingTuesday
We are THRILLED to announce that one of our generous donors has agreed to match every donation dollar for dollar up to $5,000 between now and GivingTuesday!
That means, if you donate $100 to our GivingTuesday fundraiser, our anonymous donor will match your donation and our organization will receive $200 instead of $100! This means if our community raises $5,000 on GivingTuesday, our donor will match that and we’ll receive $10,000 to support families and pets in need! INCREDIBLE!
Every single donation we receive between now and November 30, 2022, will count towards our match goal. After you have made your donation, be sure to spread the news with your friends and family to help increase your impact even further!

How can I get involved?
You can participate in GivingTuesday this year by making a donation and helping The Arizona Pet Project reach our match goal!
Do I need to make a donation or start a fundraiser to get involved?
No! In fact, if you cannot make a donation, we encourage you to start your own fundraiser on Facebook!

Share with the people you care about the reasons you support our mission to keep pets out of shelters and with their families who love them, our shelter intervention program, or our free community clinics that provide families with free surgeries, medications, and pet vaccines! The more people who know about the important work that we do, the bigger our reach we have so we can help even MORE people and the pets they love!
You can also let them know that we have a match goal of $5,000 on GivingTuesday this year and that if they make a donation it will be matched by one of our anonymous donors so their donation will have DOUBLE the impact!
