Beth is SO grateful to compassionate, pet-loving supporters like YOU who donated to The Arizona Pet Project this year on Arizona Gives Day and raised funds needed to ensure loving pet families across Arizona receive assistance when they need it most!

Her 14-year-old cockapoo, Buffy, is her best friend in the entire world! Caring for Buffy has grown harder in her senior years, and Beth explained to us how Buffy requires special food at the recommendation of her veterinarian due to her health as a senior dog.

Our social worker spoke with Beth and learned how she and Buffy had been facing homelessness together and living in a shelter, and how Beth was concerned that it was growing harder and harder to get Buffy the care she needed to be happy and healthy.

Reassuring Beth she’s a PAWesome pet parent and doing all she can to make sure her best friend is getting the care she needs by reaching out for help, our staff was able to give Beth a little piece of mind in knowing she’s not alone and people in our community care about preserving pet families like hers!

Thanks to YOUR Arizona Gives Day donations, our team is able to connect families like Beth and Buffy with the support they need—including getting Buffy plenty of her specialty food!
