What is Arizona Gives Day?
The Arizona Pet Project is one of the more than 700 nonprofits expected to participate in Arizona Gives Day on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Arizona Gives Day is an online fundraising initiative that unites residents across our state to support organizations making a difference in our communities! When you make your Arizona Gives Day donation to The Arizona Pet Project, you are improving (and saving) the lives of pets and the people who love them!
Does The Arizona Pet Project have a fundraising goal for Arizona Gives Day?
Yes! This year, our fundraising goal for Arizona Gives Day is $5,000.
$5,000 will fund an entire month of services at The Arizona Pet Project’s resource center — the first of its kind in the Valley!
The Arizona Pet Project Community Resource Center, staffed by The Arizona Pet Project’s veterinary social workers and volunteers, connects pet-owning families with human and animal services. Staff on-site at the resource center answer questions and distribute supplies and assistance – all in an inclusive, welcoming, and bilingual space.
Does The Arizona Pet Project have a Donation Match for Arizona Gives Day?
Yes! We are THRILLED to announce that one of our generous donors has agreed to a match goal of up to $5,000 for this year’s Arizona Gives Day! Meaning, one of our anonymous donors has agreed to match every donation dollar for dollar up to $5,000!
That means, if you donate $100 on Arizona Gives Day, our anonymous donor will match your donation and our organization will receive $200 instead of $100! This means if our community raises $5,000 on Arizona Gives Day, our donor will match that and we’ll receive $10,000 to support pets in need! INCREDIBLE!!
You’ll have to act fast though if you want to double your impact! This match goal only applies for donations that are made starting at midnight on Arizona Gives Day! This year, Arizona Gives Day is taking place on April 5. Every single donation we receive between April 5 and 6 will count towards our match goal. We only have a 24 hours window to meet our $5,000 match goal! After you have made your donation, be sure to spread the news with your friends and family to help increase your impact even further!
