When you donate to The Arizona Pet Project’s Arizona Gives Day fundraiser\, you are improving (and saving) the lives of pets and the people who love them! \n  \nDoes The Arizona Pet Project have a fundraising goal for Arizona Gives Day?\nYes! This year\, our fundraising goal for Arizona Gives Day is $5\,000. \n$5\,000 will fund an entire month of services at The Arizona Pet Project’s resource center — the first of its kind in the Valley! \nThe Arizona Pet Project Community Resource Center\, staffed by The Arizona Pet Project’s veterinary social workers and volunteers\, connects pet-owning families with human and animal services. Staff on-site at the resource center answer questions and distribute supplies and assistance – all in an inclusive\, welcoming\, and bilingual space. \n  \nDoes The Arizona Pet Project have a Donation Match for Arizona Gives Day?\nYes! We are THRILLED to announce that one of our generous donors\, Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund\, has agreed to a match goal of up to $5\,000 for this year’s Arizona Gives Day! They have agreed to match every donation dollar for dollar up to $5\,000! \nThat means if you donate $100 on Arizona Gives Day\, Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund will match your donation\, and our organization will receive $200 instead of $100! If our community raises $5\,000 on Arizona Gives Day\, the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund will match that\, and we’ll receive $10\,000 to support needy pets! DESCRIPTION:The Arizona Pet Project is happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® program at their Midtown Phoenix location from January through June 2025! \nYou can now donate to The Arizona Pet Project just by shopping at Buffalo Exchange in Midtown Phoenix. Instead of a plastic bag\, the Tokens for Bags® program offers every customer who purchases one “token” valued at five cents (the cost to produce a bag) to donate to one of several local charities selected by the store. \nEvery six months\, Buffalo Exchange chooses new organizations for their Tokens for Bags® program that are local to their stores that support their communities. They have locations around the United States with several Buffalo Exchange stores in Arizona\, and we’re thrilled that their Midtown location has chosen to support The Arizona Pet Project this year! The Tokens for Bags® program has generated over $962\,840 for hundreds of local nonprofit organizations since 1994 and has saved over 19.25 million plastic bags from landfills. \nWe hope you’ll join us in shopping at Buffalo Exchange to help support families and pets in need\, all while keeping plastic bags out of landfills!
