DESCRIPTION:The Arizona Pet Project is happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® program at their Tempe location from July through December 2022. \nYou can now donate to The Arizona Pet Project just by shopping at Buffalo Exchange in Tempe. Instead of a plastic bag\, the Tokens for Bags® program offers every customer who purchases one “token” valued at five cents (the cost to produce a bag) to donate to one of several local charities selected by the store. \nEvery six months\, Buffalo Exchange chooses new organizations for their Tokens for Bags® program that are local to their stores that support their communities. They have locations around the United States with several Buffalo Exchange stores in Arizona\, and we’re thrilled that their Tempe location has chosen to support The Arizona Pet Project for the remainder of the year! One of our anonymous donors has agreed to match every donation dollar for dollar up to $3\,000! \nThat means\, if you donate $100 on GivingTuesday\, our anonymous donor will match your donation and our organization will receive $200 instead of $100! This virtual walk is a fundraising event that saves the lives of dogs and cats in communities across the country. \nThe virtual Strut Your Mutt Day this October is an important day for animal shelters and rescue groups to raise money toward saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats!\n \nWe at The Arizona Pet Project are proud to be part of the Best Friends Strut Your Mutt Day celebration happening across the country!
